Caenorhabditis Intervention Testing Program (CITP)

Funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the CITP is a collaborative research program investigating pharmacological interventions with the potential to extend lifespan and improve health outcomes in a diverse panel of Caenorhabditis strains and species. Learn more about our research here.

To learn more about the compound selection process or to submit a proposal, please visit the NIA's CITP call-for-submissions web page (2025 submission deadline date to be announced).

The CITP operates independently of, but in parallel with, the NIH's Interventions Testing Program (ITP).

Recent Update

Our new Data Portal provides convenient public access to all lifespan data published by the CITP to date. You can navigate and download data by publication, compound, or strain, and view survival plots. All downloads are provided in a standardized format for use in your analysis.
