CITP Data Portal

The Data Portal provides access to lifespan and transcriptomics data published by the Caenorhabditis Intervention Testing Program (CITP). The CITP systematically tests a broad array of bioactive compounds for their effects on longevity and other biomarkers of aging across a broad set of nematode strains and species. Please see the CITP Home Page for more information about our research program.

The Portal Home page lists CITP publications that contain publicly released lifespan data and, more recently, transcriptomics data. The Browse drop-down menu next to each reference provides quick access to lifespan datasets, statistical analyses, and (if available) RNA-seq results that were reported in the publication.

You can also access lifespan data and information grouped by Dataset, Compound, or Worm Strain. Each published dataset on the portal contains raw data from interventions in which compounds were tested on strains at specific concentrations for lifespan effects. They also contain the data from water or DMSO controls which were generated for those experiments.

In the dataset, compound, and strain tables, use the buttons and links to find related information, analytical summaries, and Kaplan–Meier survival plots; click the Export buttons at the top of the tables to obtain metadata for each category. Raw data are available in CSV (comma-separated value) and Excel formats. Click the download button below to retrieve all CITP lifespan data published to date. Fields/columns used in the download files are described in the data dictionary.

The Summary Statistics page contains a full searchable table of Cox Proportional Hazards modeling results for CITP interventions to date. These analytical summaries can be downloaded by clicking the Export buttons at the top of the table.

RNA-seq differential gene expression tables and plots are available from more recent studies.

Acknowledging the CITP in your publications will help us maintain our funding. Please use the following statement in any publications in which you used data obtained from the CITP, including the grant numbers: "Some data were downloaded from the CITP Data Portal (citpaging.org), which is supported by funding from NIH's NIA Division of Aging Biology grants (U01 AG045844, U01 AG045864, U01 AG045829, and U24 AG056052)."
